it is November 7th as I begin writing this, just 2 days after the 2024 U.S. presidential election in which Trump not only won the electoral college vote but the popular vote as well. Half of U.S. voters are happy, half are not, some are overjoyed, some are devastated.
Miriam-Webster’s 2022 word of the year… the basic definition for gaslighting is “the act or practice of grossly misleading someone especially for one’s own advantage.” Gaslighting is used to manipulate the public/voters by misrepresenting the truth and twisting the facts in order to get voters to question what they believe and ultimately change their vote.

The Mission
Today we find ourselves drowning in a river of propaganda, a sea of fake news, and an ocean of disinformation. Using main stream and social media and the power of the government, “Big Brother” is attempting to create a “reality” they want us to accept, a reality where the “proles” (i.e. you and me… aka Hilary’s deplorables) are nothing more than useful tools under the absolute power and control of the elitists who think they should rule the world. The concept of freedom will have no part in that “reality.” In fact, the word and its meaning will probably be eradicated from our language. Fortunately George Orwell threw us a life preserver when he wrote 1984. It is time to put it to good use!

well as expected, you have definitely did your research and given us lots to think about. The rules definitely need to be the same for all competitive competitions. You can’t have different rules say for high school school students, then in college or Olympics. They can’t keep changing but must be constant everywhere. Decide what is fair and make those rules for all ages and competitions.
